i do the wed flight to palau after the workshop with Continental, puts you in Palau Wed afternoon, you could then go back to Manila on the following wed or sat morning...

NOw is a good time to do that flight as the price dropped big time, try www.continental.com

booking directly thru continental is $577, my travel agent here as well as the one in Palau can get a slight discount off that... Asian Spirits is $480 r/t but they have luggage restrictions... Plus Asian Spirits has some wacky flight times!

ha... I am still trying to figure out what to do for a 1 & 1/2 weeks after the photoworkshop. I was thinking of Sangalaki in Kalimantan but the travel time is a real hassle (overnite in Singapore, and then 2 more stops + boat ride). So I figured if I'm gonna be in the PI, I might as well try somewhere close from there. So I might roll the dice with the weather in Palau and give it a shot. Alternative is to head down to Cebu/ Bohol/ Dumaguete...
stay in the philippines... we could use the tourist $$$ you're planning to spend...

imagine each dive you do brings electricity to 1 isolated barangay...
or sends 5 kids to school...
or allows an indigent person to go to hospital...

think about it...

Think about it....

100 peos internet card can buy a meal at jolibee to feed 4 kids at least, kids that stand by the glaSS windows and doors of jolibee asking for a share everytime you put your food into your mouth.....

so.... what to do now.... internet card or feed the children whose parents make more siblings....

..

pao, donate your new northface jacket. That could probably fit at least 4 street kids underneath it and keep them dry...
