Greetings,

I am looking to reduce the amount of gear I store, or change it to something I will use. Make me an offer, I need the cash to purchase parts for a portable compressor setup at DEMA. I can bring gear to DEMA to exchange.

Mako (see next post for condition) - asking $1200 obo
Set of Aluminum Blades for Mako (rough surface) - $75
Dive Rite 21W HID with wreck Cannister (batteries rated to 4.4 Ah instead of original 9 Ah) -- $450
or $500 with a brand new 9Ah battery.
2x Dive Rite 40 cuft Oxygen Bottle Wrap ($15 each)
905 Drysuit size Large - new boots & seals, well used - $250 / prefer to exchange at a dive site after a test dive.
Atomic 1st and 2nd (yoke - old style piston) with 1st swivel - $200

I am looking for:
Halcyon or Salvo Cannister with Lid for 13.5 Ah or 9ah battery w/wo battery(clear top version)
6 cuft bottle with low profile DIN valve

2400 psi "T" cylinders for He or Oxygen in good condition
4500 psi storage cylinder

Thanks,

Keith

The Mako was rebuilt a couple of years ago using the higher thickness O-rings for the motor compartment and Main housing (improves seal- suggested by Steve Gamble). While rebuilding it, the motor was rewound, the bearings and shaft seal were replaced. The batteries are the high drain version of the Powersonic 18 Amp Hr (They call them 21s, but for the current draw they are 13 Ah; typical 18 Ah batteries are 11 Ah for the same current draw). This scooter is faster than my SS.

The outer housing shows some wear from sliding it in and out of the truck (early on in its life).

The battery connectors were upgraded to andersons as the trailer plug variety (factory) would melt when the scooter was run on prop pitch 9 for any length of time - the current draw of the rewound motor can get high. The scooter is best used in the 6,7 range. It tends to get set 1 pitch setting lower than the SSs it ran with.

Results of a Burn Test is 41:29 to 20Volts using the resistors suggested for Gavins and SSs.

Time Volts
0 27.8V
1 24.6V
5 24.6V
10 24.4V
15 24.1V
20 23.7V
25 23.2V
30 22.6V
35 21.7V
40 20.1V
41:29 20V

I prefer to meet for test drives to avoid disappointments.

Images of 21W HID, and Atomic Regulator.

In the photos of the batteries, the white wrapped battery is new, while the two piece blue wrapped battery is the original.

Also I have a Video Reflector for the 21W Dive Rite HID, it will also fit a 24W HID. new, never used - asking $75.

Thanks,

Keith

carl from sartek told me the lights are still worth about4-5 hundred each, and i would also include 2 extra bulbs/wires.

the canisters are large acrylic cases with heavy duty latches.
1 light is a 18w dive light w/handle
the other is a 18w filming light
i have an extra handle and the fittings for rigging up the lights for your dives

the apeks is a din or yoke, whichever you choose, i have a couple to choose from

ill trade you both of my sartek HID 18w setups and an apeks reg set
for that scooter with the Al blades

I have recently acquired 2 new cannister lights (21W & 18W HIDs) in addition to the 24W HID I started with, so I have no need for additional lights.

On post looking for a DPV you indicated you had Poseidon Regs in addition to the Apeks. Are they all DIN? Would you care to offer a combination? Any Photos?

Thanks,

Keith
