Hello,

I'd also like to consult with you on the selection of my first BCD. So far I have only dived with a borrowed BCD jacket. I dive here in the Czech Republic in quarries (water temperature 10-20 degrees, 5mm wetsuit) but also in warm seas (Egypt, SE Asia). So I am looking for something that can handle warm seas, but also diving in the colder water here in the quarries. At the same time, I would like it to not weigh too much if one would travel with it in the aircraft.

When diving in quarries I mostly use 3+3 kg weights, so I would also like some weight pockets and D rings for attaching accessories, buoys etc... I am a recreational diver, I dive with one bottle.

What bp/w would you recommend for me? And another question: What size backplate for my needs, buy 28 backplate or 38 backplate? Aluminum or stainless backplate?

Thanks in advance for your advice!
Lukas
Tecline is a good brand that one of my underwater archaeologist friends uses in Greece. Looks well made.

Tecline Peanut? And what about Xdeep Zeos, does anyone have experience with it? What backplate size for my needs? Aluminium or stainless steel backplate? Thank you for your suggestions.
Not sure. I'll have to ask him.

I have an XDeep Zeos. it is also well made. If I was only buying product in Europe, I'd probably buy the Tecline as it is cheaper and a good product.
