Landlocked, but have Satellite (w/Tivo) and cable.

Like cold water?

Also looking for a good DM/AI to help out on trips.

NatureDiver- no fair highjacking my thread for your own personal gain! Just teasing ya.

SueMermaid- not very flexible, perhaps I should try yoga! Blondes can be negotiated for since brains override hair color any day. Who has time for cable? 15 channels are way more than I can handle already.

Dr. Bill

Sorry DrBill.....gotta do what I gotta do. You understand I'm sure. :) I like you so far so I have to highjack just a little of your thread. :) Thanks in advance for any resumes/applications I receive.

Dr Bill, I hear Pilates does wonders for flexibility. Okay, if no cable, how about a well-stocked fridge? My staples are Veuve Cliqout, tuna packed in olive oil, Cheerios, and peanut butter. Not at the same time.
Can you pick me up at the ferry dock, in, say, three hours?
:D

Naturediver, I'm old enough to be your...older sister!

SueMermaid, you must have a fast transport if you are going to be on the dock in Avalon, Catalina Is. CA in three hours.:D

I must say, Catalina is a nice place to live. I used to live in Catalina Harbor.:)

... financially secure to ensure support of starving marine biologist's research and international dive needs (he contributes permanent land base with a view on Catalina Island as well as his scintillating personality); interest in global dive travel especially during long, hard California winters; preferably long dark hair (no blonde roots please); Asian or Eastern European ethnicity a plus but not required; slender and fit; and of the female persuasion....

So, without any further ado, here's your perfect dive buddy:

SueMermaid:

Older sister? I have that beat. My sister turns 24 next month....I dated a 32 year old earlier this year. Age means nothing. Well.....I'm not going to date someone in their 60's either. :) I wish I knew whether or not I am going on the single's trip to Cozumel. I'm still not sure if I can or not. :(

Went to meet the boat and there was no SueMermaid... the story of my life (either I miss the boat or she misses the boat).

NatureDiver- I've decided given your age and mine, we can split this thread. I'll take all the female divers in the 20-40 year range and you can have the ones in the 40-? and 18-19 year ranges. Oops, I mean the reverse (or do I?).

Arnaud- Hmmm, I didn't know she was a diver!

So I'm now looking for a permanent buddy. Qualifications: Active diver for whom SCUBA is a passion; able to do 3-6 cold water dives each dive day; strong interest in marine ecology and underwater video or still photography a plus; skilled in Adobe Premiere editing helpful; highly intelligent; good sense of humor; financially secure to ensure support of starving marine biologist's research and international dive needs (he contributes permanent land base with a view on Catalina Island as well as his scintillating personality); interest in global dive travel especially during long, hard California winters; preferably long dark hair (no blonde roots please); Asian or Eastern European ethnicity a plus but not required; slender and fit; and of the female persuasion.

Apply through PM! Soon... I'm diving Friday!!

Dr. Bill [/B]

Sounds like a job description for a marine technician or a grad student. EEO would probably have a problem with the latter part though.
:)

I definitely think you should be referring to the opposite. Of course, I'll take the 18-19 years too. :)
