That was the deal! The people I talked to said that the neoprene gloves inhibited hand/finger movement.

Had the Viking system on my old Andy's suit and loved them. I now have the New Si Tech permanent ring system on my new suit and love them even more. Just a few dives with them in Lake Michigan/Huron, the water mixes up there in the straits, but they work even better without the little tit that needs to be lined up on the Viking system. My buddy has the old Si Tech system and complains about having to line things up. Get the Si Tech and go with the silicone seals you won't regret it I promise. I would still stand behind the Viking system as well. It just seemed like I had a liitle trouble when my hands were cold twisting the system off after a dive.
 
Mine just seem to lay better and they stretch more so they feel more comfortable.
