Plain and simple.

Just contact your credit card company and have them change your address to whatever it is now. I called up my card company and they have 2 authorized addresses for me. Don't blame LP for not wanting to get burnt by credit card fraud that is a big problem not to mention ID theft. It makes good economic sense to have a strict credit card policy and I feel that much more secure knowing almost all internet firms have a similar policy. Get a another card or something with your present address. I get new card solicitations all the time.

MoonWrasse:
However I wouldn't by any sheets from them. I like mine whole ;)

And totally untrue. Read Gen. Ch. 2, verse 24. "...and they shall both be one flesh."

Get it? One flesh, that is nothing between.

Rabbi Hillel, when asked by a heathen to explain the entire Torah while he stood on one foot, replied, "That which is hateful to you, do not do to another. All the rest is commentary. Now go and learn."

MoonWrasse:
Get over it. I wasn't the one who brought up the question of their ethnicity, nor do I believe it's germane to the discussion. It's a red herring.

If, indeed, that is true, why did you find it necessary to lend your support?

People like those do not learn anymore.
They are stuck in their racial beleives and their own superiority because this is the only thing they can be proud about. They don't have anything else in their lifes. ;)
As you can see, the poster isn't even secure enough to provide any information about him/her self in their profile. :eyebrow:

Enough with the personal attacks!

Well before this whole posts gets onto the anti-seministic band wagon and ruins the whole intent of the thread with that nonsense and silliness.......I'd like to get a few words in with regards of my experience.

I have order a few small items from them last Thursday, just after noon, and as I found out it will not be shipped until Monday morning, possible Tuesday. The parts are in stock yet they will not go out. The C/C has already been charged (or at least a hold put on) that afternoon, yet I have to wait 3-4 days before the parts get shipped. Why can't they ship the parts on time and everyday like most other businesses?! Why do I have to wait that long, even though I selected the 2day shipment, technically it's not that yet they still charge you for it. For me 2 days means get it Saturday or latest Monday morning. And when I called to inquire about the shipment and what not, the guy on the other hand was only so happy to get rid of me.

For now, let's just wait and see what happens.

I would like to apologize to the other members of the board (except MoonWrasse, of course) for this minor derailment, and get to the reason I originally jumped into this thread.

I spent several years during the 70's working for a professional photographer in Manhatten. We used the Hasidic Jewish owned photography stores as our major source for equipment and supplies. I was in one or the other of the large photo stores on a weekly basis. At first, the employees had to-the-point typical Manhattan attitudes. After a while, they warmed up a little, even calling me by name when I walked in, but never reached level of warmth we often see in a small town dealer.

Did they know photography--no. Did they know the equipment and supplies end of the business--absolutely. And, they always kept their word, and bent over backwards to solve any problem we had with equipment or supplies purchased from them.

I buy from Leisure Pro occasionally, but not often enough to comment on their service. I suspect that their business model is similar to the NYC photo stores--low prices, good service, little or no advice. This type of operation is clearly not for everyone, but there are enough customers who prefer this type of operation to make it very successful
