Lake Pleasant Diving

there is a channel that is accessible during the late summer/fall (low lake level) months, when you can drive to the far east end of desert tortoise/two cow (facing burro island). Dive NNE towards the Sheriff's docks and you will find a walls at about 60' that drops to over 100'. Found it with Rob (dive-aholic) one year, forgot about it, then stumbled across it again last year (I think that was my last lake dive ). It's probably accessible right now.

If'n you remember where that big sinkhole was a couple years ago, the walls are NNE of it starting around 60-70'

Yes...I remember where that area is...found those sink holes got some vids in them...the first is shallow...there are two that we found might be more..... I have hovered over that area....dark and cold...got down to about 80 ft. there and was with a buddy who got a bit nervous so we went across to the second sink hole on the other side of that wall area.... not bad...and I think it is accessible now....

Was that over between the 2-cow cove area and the Sheriff's dock? Josh and I stumbled across it last spring. Lots of nooks and crannies to investigate. We never got back there but that would be a cool dive to try this weekend...Maybe Saturday or Monday .

I believe we are talking about the same place!!! Yep it would be good...this being a holiday weekend makes it bad for me...can't make it but hopefully you will find someone to dive with.......

It's a little more NW of the star but you can see the contour lines in the pic. Nice walls, overhangs, etc. Won't catch me out on the lake on a holiday weekend, I can hear the mariachi music already, but have fun.

According to G&F, the lake is 44' below full. That would mean it should be accessible right now. We found it when the lake was down about 60', but it can be reached (although with a little more effort) up to 40' below.
