A 55-year-old man was killed on Sunday October 16 while diving. Member of the underwater club of Léman, he evolved with a teammate of dive off Saint-Disdille at a depth of about fifty meters.

According to our information, the victim was pinned by the slings of a wrecked sailboat. His partner came to the surface very quickly to alert the other members of the club. Sounds like a salvage gone wrong. My hats off to the diver that tried to get help for his buddy, I hope he makes a complete recovery. I am saddened to hear the death of the other diver.
