Une femme est décédée, ce dimanche 24 mars, alors qu'elle faisait de la plongée à Beffes.
A diving accident occurred this Sunday, March 24, around 11 a.m., at the Beffes diving center, to the east of the Cher department. A 50-year-old woman lost her life.
Despite the intervention of emergency services, she could not be saved. Firefighters and police went to the scene, as did the mayor of the town of Beffes, Olivier Michel Le Cam.
An open investigation
An investigation was opened by the Bourges public prosecutor's office to determine the circumstances of this tragedy. An autopsy of the body of the fifty-year-old was notably ordered by the prosecutor's office in order to find out what caused the diver's death (drowning, cardiac arrest, incident during the ascent, etc.).

The victim was part of a Loiret diving club, probably located in the Montargo metropolitan area, which had rented the site to the Beffes town hall.
