although now that I think of it, maybe the 15+ ft vis I'm remembering was from our ugly ss where I oscillated between 10-20 ft. Kept thinking "wow I can see the bottom, (glance at computer)....damn I suck at buoyancy today"

Today we did the goat path wall. You remember the site where due to a slight oversight you ended up having to do the surface swim twice....
Come to think of it, that was also the same day we got to watch Chris get fired out of the "crevice" like a cannonball by the surge. That was a very interesting day of diving.
what is a sane temperature to dive with a 7 mm? I just started diving last summer so I'm not sure when to jump on in. Keep in mind, I want to be able to walk back out of the water.
Ft Wetherell is about 1 1/2 hrs for me so if I go I like to do at least 1 long dive, but preferrably 2 long dives.
I have a ring shaped scab around most of the circumference of my neck. I look like Clint Eastwood's character from "Hang'em High".
I definitely need to do a little work on that seal.....
