I just put up some pics in my gallery of Land Locked and jbd's first dive in doubles. It was my first time with the camera also. I took allot more pictures but they were more successful with the doubles than I was with the camera.

The vis was decieving from topside. You can even see the dropoff in the pic. When we got in the water though the horizontal vis was about 6-10 feet.

The weather was perfect and all in all, a good day of diving! :D

OK newb question! How on God's blue planet do you find the gallery.?

just click on "View Gallery" right at the bottom under my avatar.

Land Locked:
So when is the next Hoosier Fundies class???:rofl3: I think I'll have it nailed down next Sunday. I made some changes on the bc, I've got to get some shorter bolts to save my knees:shakehead and get a small dolly for tank transport. I'm going to start with minimal weight on my harness and use a tip I got from JBD on fine tuning bouyancy last year.

No...You never see my class as long as we hava a great bouyancy specialist, jbd..:D

Good idea, I also got a dolly from Menards. It is cheap ($24) and works great...

Nice pictures JP, especially for a first time underwater photographer. It looks like jbd is already a doubles master! Not too surprising.

Man those doubles can't be fun to lug around. Every time I see a set of doubles up on a gear stand I understand why WT puts his on a takes his off in the back of his SUV!

Yes... saves your back AND your knees! :D

JP is well on his way to being a great U/W Shutterbug. jbd being the Yoda of PPB will be master of those tanks in no time at all. As for doubles being heavy, they are also very akward, I've several bruises on my legs to prove it. My instructor always geared up from the back of his van, I think for the sake of me and my gear I'll be doing the same from now on.

JP did a great job with the pictures!! jbd on the other hand has a good ways to go before mastering the doubles. I'm sure that if there had been video as opposed to still photography we would all be ROFLOAO:rofl3: It is a start though and another 10 15 dives should see reasonable improvement.

It was interesting to note that JP is still haunted by his AOW with me:D I was observing the lack of lateral balance I had on the first dive and JP wondered what kind of "issue" I was presenting him with.:D Maybe he's mentally preparing himself for the rescue class. Its either that or I have scarred him for life:D

I noticed you motionless and the training kicked in! :D
