A blanket statement on Koh Lipe is expensive is nothing but a stupid remark.
Phuket - Khao Lak- Surat Thani - Nakhon si Thamamat - Yala - Sungai Kolok in 11 days recently and spent less than B3,500.00 to cover everything except accommodation and air fare ie. less than US$30.00 a day. I was in Bangkok not too long ago and spent less than that daily.
Koh Lipe is NOT expensive. Period.
