Looking for information on the sidewinder 2. Hard to find did someone attend Dema and tell me what’s the new feature of the sidewinder 2 and any idea for a release date?!

Theres several posts made by Xdeep and new KISS explaining the differences and improvements over V1.

Its been 3 months away for atleast 3 years. So only time will tell. They had some major manufacturing constraints that warranted some new **very expensive** tooling to accomplish the task that has been put in front of them. But talking with the test divers they noted the differences significant.


BUT if you are holding off on your CCR training in an effort to get the newest and best. Dont. Just buy a rig that is currently available.

Could be available for purchase in late 2024 or never. Open water lesson one should be "don't trust dive marketing materials" (at any level especially CCRs)

You , me, and everyone else in the world. They're being overly hush hush about it while also posting snippets here and there that don't tell the story. I think there's a good chance it's going to be a much longer wait than expected.

I suspect that CE cert (not testing ) is the bottleneck

It's vaporware for sure. Not the only, nor likely to be the last, CCR that fails to launch.
