Ok guys, here's the deal.

Capt. Brian will charge us a group rate of $40.00 per diver (21% and weights included) for a 2 tank dive, and $50.00 for a 3 tank dive. Nitrox will be $7.00 per bottle (or bring your own).

Both days are open at the moment. I have promised him a call back no later than Tuesday of next week.

Regarding hotels, I checked on Orbitz.com, the cheapest hotel was the Howard Johnson; the rate was $89.00 per night. I believe, if you guys don't mind something not so fancy, that the Neptune Hideaway can give us a better rate. Sage, any word on the group rate?

If everyone can let me know by Monday, I'll confirm on Tuesday.

I got a hold of the hotel but they are not offering a discount at this point. So far
they will only agree to hold a block of rooms.

ok, well count me in. i'll provide my own lodging, and would like to do a triple dive if possible (air) both on Saturday and Sunday, but will do doubles as well.

If the Sunday thing can't happen, I'll try to arrange shore diving for Sunday with those willing and able.

I called the Neptune's Hideaway. The small room is $65.00 and they have a few left for either the 30th or the 1st. This place is not fancy at all, but it's cozy and the rooms are clean. Here's their web page: http://www.neptuneshideaway.com/index.html

I'll check a few more and will post their rates, in case anyone needs the info. For us to retain the group rate both days, we'd need at least 8 divers for Sunday.
