I was from the Disko era.
Wasn't Disko the name of the character in Rudyard Kipling's book Captains Courageous? That was first made into a film in 1937 but was set in the 1890's! :confused:

She was clearly referring to the height of the Roman Empire. By "dance" she meant, she wasn't very good at tossing the discus. I don't blame her, it wasn't something commonly practiced by women back then...
