Up in Fort Pierce through the weekend. Wondering if it's worth it to head down the coast and snag a double dip with an op.

Has any one verifed current conditions? Are there any good ops heading out this weekend? Is it worth it lol?

Thanks

As a local, I am sitting it out until things clear up.
Jupiter Dive Center has not posted recently about conditions [fb] so I would advise calling them for info.
Per NOAA, seas are not optimal, but doable
National Weather Service
I would give Narcosis [Riviera Beach] a call as well. Big boat = nice ride.
Good luck

Weather not looking so fantastic either. Thunderstorms predicted all weekend. Looking like we may just wait till we're back in a few weeks for good.

As reported by:
Jupiter Dive Center

"Just in!
40 feet of vis and 84 degrees! We are going tomorrow."

Going to give it a try tomorrow a.m.
Will update after.

Per Jupiter Scuba Diving:

Hallelujah! We found blue water!! Some of the Kyalami Crew went out to do a visibility check at some of our sites to see if there were any improvements.
Happy faces upon return: Lemon, reef & nurse sharks, turtles, groupers, eels, lobsters, and reef fish everywhere!

Viz: 40 ft
Temp: 82 degrees
Current: mild north.

Looking better!

20-30' vis 85° first dive. 4+ active nurse sharks, lobsters, fat Goliath and lots of fish.

50' vis 85° second dive. Same as above with 2 extra reef sharks.

Calm seas and sunshine.

Great dive day!
