I will start out with what I want to use my iWatch 6 for...mark the location of a potentially new WWII ship wreck, a Higgins Landing Craft. I spotted the wreck a month ago on a DPV trip to another known WWII wreck. After looking at the the charts this one appears to not be charted.

Our plan is to return to the general location, conduct a grid search pattern and then mark the wreck with a DSMB. Once on the surface record the GPS coordinates and compare them to the charts.

I know the iWatch has GPS capabilities, but has anyone used any of them? Is there one App better than others?

I am curious what others have done.

Before someone gets off topic, I know about the capabilities of the Garmin MK2...stay on topic, this is about using an iWatch.

Thanks,

Michael
