Get a solid date and I'll see what I can do :D

The 18th/19th it is!

I would imagine that we have some people that will ("cough, hack, cough") not be at their place of employment on Friday as well.

I would expect things to go much the same as the last Meet and Greet with a potluck on Saturday afternoon. I will bring my favorite patriot along for Saturday night again and see about bringing something along from the GLWC's favorite brewmaster.

Let's everybody have fun and have the shirt orders wrapped up my Mid-August so that we can give Bay Supply enough lead time on our shirts and hats. I will have to have a talk with the "committee" as well about expanding our merchandise line for "Round 3". Wait until you see my SB custom mug with the GLWC logo displayed on the other side from the SB logo!

OK, I've put it in my calendar! Hated having to miss the first one, but so far there's nothing else conflicting with that weekend.

see you all there!

Cool, glad we've got a date. Right now I don't have any conflicts so I'll put it on the calendar, hopefully nothing comes up.

Michigan hosts San Diego on the 18th. Hopefully it will be an early game so I can get down to the quarry and get a dusk dive in. & given my birthday is on the 16th I'll expect a spectacular bday toast! ;)

Talius:
I'll be there saturday the 18th.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.
About what time do the festivities begin?

Hi Talius.

Last time people showed up whenever they could. I believe the first bunch showed up mid-day on Friday and stayed through to Sunday afternoon. Others arrived at various times on Saturday. Some stayed for the night, some didn't.

I'm sure as we get closer people will know their schedules better.

OK wreckers, now that Mike Williams has recovered from our last meet and greet, it is time to plan another one.

I would like us to have plenty of time to get things together, so I am thinking of having another Meet and Greet at Gilboa Quarry in mid Sept. after the wreck season is winding down and before Halloween preparations kick in.

We had an awesome time at the last one. I am thinking of beer, potluck, and of course lots of diving in the quarry. Last one had inpromptu drysuit classes as well.

Comments anyone?

I'm in.... lets get a small group together to do a long dive on the deep side.... maybe swim the length of the wall and come up by the tubes...?
