We just returned from Little Cayman on Sunday. We stayed at Little Cayman Beach Resort (2nd time) and LOVE IT. As many have said above - the diving is great, easy and the dive masters are terrific. Valet diving is a good description. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The food is fantastic!!! The desserts..........delish.

We had a great time - weather was perfect - resort was perfect - food was beyond perfect and the diving was great! (I have never seen any scuba police in LC) :)

Well worth the price - the island is very quaint. We got to meet Gladys (Pirate's Point) at the LC airport while waiting on our flight to the Grand - what a hoot she is. Very nice lady and I've heard her cooking is fabulous!!

Gladys is very nice! My wife and I were married in the Little Cayman Baptist Church a few years ago and she gave us a nice party after the wedding. The food at Pirates Point is excellent as well. That would also be a good choice. I think the one big advantage LCBR has is the dive boats are right out your front door. At Pirates Point, you have to load up in the van and drive a short distance to the boat. But it's still a place worth considering.

As JDCPA said about Little Cayman, "It is a unique experience." I don't think you will be disappointed in it.

In relative terms, is Little Cayman thought of as better diving than Cayman Brac?

Keen to see the Capt Keith Tibbetts one day.

I would say that LC is slightly better, just because of how shallow the walls start on the north side and how steeply they drop off. There also seems to be a larger sandy area inside the reef edge along the Bloody Bay Wall. With that said, I think it is better by a matter of small increments. Brac is better than GC and in my opinion is better than Cozumel or Roatan. But I think LC is just slightly better for the reasons I stated above. One thing to consider is that you can pay a little extra and do a trip to the Tibbetts from one of the LC resorts. I just remember from my trips to the Brac that the highlight of the week was the one day you got to go dive LC.

I agree with AD. I would give LC the nod over Cayman Brac but both are great. I'll be back at Cayman Brac the first week of May this year. It will be my first time back since it was totally rebuilt. We are really looking forward to it and "Mr. T" himself is coming to give us an island tour!

Mr. T giving the tour makes the trip all that much better. Just another added bonus of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

He's a great guy! He gave us the tour of LC last year. We initally met him in 2006 at the airport and then saw him again a couple of years later when we stayed at LC the first time. He'll call us now and then to see when we're coming back!
