This is based on long conversations with very well respected instructors who I'm sure you've heard of and likely respect. Most of the conversations were in regards to Tech1/normoxic because I had a pfo repaired last year and not sure if I will or won't go hypoxic trimix. So I understand your point and don't disagree that I may change my mind over time. But at this point based on a ridiculous amount of discussion on it with much smarter divers than me, I have zero likelihood of redoing all of the trimix courses on ccr. I might add that the instructors I'm referencing would be comfortable doing a trimix ccr dive with me without specific ccr trimix training, my tech 1 instructor knows me well enough to add tidbits that differ in ccr vs oc to the class, and said instructors would likely do some "mentorship dives" with me on ccr post oc trimix class as a way to cover some of the things that differ between OC and CCR as opposed to doing a specific ccr trimix class, if they or I felt it necessary. IMO sometimes a formal class isn't necessary when a friendly training/mentorship dive or two can do the same thing. But I'm not the norm as most people don't have very easy access/friendships with their instructors to allow for the scenario I explained above.
