yep, thanks for reminder - checked TDI reqs for mixed gas ~50 dives on given CCR... about 2 years with my diving realistically...
50 dives (ascents) is the minimum, it usually takes at least that much to be comfortable on the unit. If you dive 25 times a year, you are probably at the minimum number of dives to retain OC ANDP skill set - depending on how you get the dives (regular weekends vs one big liveaboard trip once a year). I personally wouldn’t bother with CCR. The unit wants to be dived regularly.
 
I were speaking about over 50m dives. Not more than 25 per year...
Ah sorry... I thought that it would take you 2 years to get the 50 dives needed between mod1 and mod2. With 25 trimix dives a year CCR makes sense - you might find out that you will dive anything below 30 meters with trimix anyway, because that's what you will have in your cylinders.
