CCR Cave - Why take it?

Was GUE C2 on OC. After about 90 C1 cave dives and another 160 full cave dives on OC including Abe Davis, I took a NSS-CDS CCR cross-over in a one-on-one class. It was good to get some focused time on CCR in a cave even if I already had perhaps 35-40 cave dives on a CCR when I took the cross-over. One of which was Eagle's Nest, numerous other pre-CCR cave course dives were original exploration on CCR.

Was fine, would not say it was terrible nor fabulous.

My general feel is people focus too much on cards and certs and not enough on critically self-examining their diving and perfecting their craft outside of classes.
