Invitation to Dive Ginnie 5/24

I'm planning on arriving around 8:30 or so from Jax.

Where will we meet, Devils area or by Ginnie itself?

Looking forward to the weekend.

I'm not exactly sure. Hopefully Wendy will chime in here and give us the straight and narrow. On the original post we are planning to do about three dives..

This will be an ow dive for us. Probably do the Ginnie Basin and the Ballroom. Do a drift dive down the shallow spring run to the river and back. And then do some dives around Little Devil, and Devil's Eye and Ear. Also we will stop by EE to check out the shop.

What do say Wendy, where are we parking/meeting?

I assumed the folks like me (who are not bringing tanks on the airplane) would rent. But if your bringing some, and it works I would love to "rent" three from you.

I figured the majority of us would be getting there at the same time and would be at the Dive shop there. But I guess others will be getting there before us out of towners and south Floridians. I was thinking of diving the main Ginnie Spring and the Ballroom first. Maybe do a little drift dive down the spring run to the river and back. Have lunch and then move our site to over at the the Devil's. and dive over there. But I got us this far, someone else can feel free to make suggestions too.

I got my 2 lp 85's filled and ready. There's pleanty in them for 3 dives.

Hmmm.

I do need to obtain tanks from somewhere. NetDoc, if you've got a mobile tank shop, then I'll be happy to rent from you. I'm prepared to rent tanks from wherever is easiest and most convenient for everyone else, as I'm resorted to "tagging along" once I reach Wendy's house. (Central Florida is a maze to me....)

I had planned on renting a second AL80, but if you're offering and it's convenient, I'll rent one of yours. I'm bringing an AL100, so those two should be good for what we're planning. Straight Air, yoke connection.

I have a weight belt and some weights if any one needs me to bring it. I won't be needing any weight on this trip.

Also remember that you will need less weight cuz this is fresh water.
