I'm in Mexico and in minute 1 of dive 1 on day 1 my housing floods destroying my friend's Canon A710 (which I had borrowed for the trip)(

I'm heading to dive some cenotes (cavern zone) next week and I need a new HD video camera with good low light capabilities that I can find locally... So far the only thing I've seen here is the SeaLife 1400. It is 720p but doesn't say how it performs in low light. Any ideas? Suggestions? I have a GoPro, and as much as I love it, it's completely useless in low light. I want to shoot ambient light in the cavern zone, understanding that it is quite a challenge, but I've done it before and I love the effect... I just need to find a camera capable of it, and fast!

I'd appreciate any advice.

Alternately, can anyone recommend a place in Playa del Carmen where I might be able to rent an HD video camera?
