I use these Rubberized Wieghts straps that I put onto the bottom of Alum tanks.

They keep the tank in the upright position where it should be and also help it drop out of your harness if you ever need to dump the tank in a hurry.

I make them up myself and they are about 10 pounds each. I can custome make them in any wieght you desire

Ill send you a 10 pound one for $40 plus shipping

or Trade for brick of LP Primers or .44 mag once fired brass

What I usually do when diving is to grab a few big rocks 20-30 pounders and hold them when jumpping in off the boat.

They help you get down quicker and use less air

When you hist bottom or almost 80-100 feet down let go of the rock and you will slow your desent to just perfect.

Do your Dive, Pick Up as many Scallopps or Lobster or Fish as you can get in your Bags and then blow up your BC to offset for the added 100 pounds of Bugs that you have. Blow off excess air as your nearing the surface.

Its like haveing power assit in both directions.

If you have too many bags of Bugs, Scallpps, Urchins, or Pieces of Eight to bring up. Just deploy a float on each bag and wich them onboard the boat after you surface and take off your tank & wieghtbelt.

Easy!

Or if you don't like the divers who are already down, drop it a little sooner.
