Oh that IS nice... but that should not stop Shearwater. Actually I was thinking maybe an entry level Shearwater for recreational divers... look at all these people mulling over algorithms and wanting but not quite ready for a Shearwater: seems like a hole in the market?

They don't need to make an entry level Shearwater. It's great as it is. There's a rec mode on the Perdix. Nice and simple. The interface, when compared with my Geo 2.0, is a complete 180. Perdix is worth every penny. If you've never been hands on with a Perdix, you'd be amazed.

I appreciate the feedback on ease of use vs. a Geo2 as I am considering that.
 
Do you folks that have the Geo2 find it easy to read underwater?
