Wouldn't you get arrested for exposing yourself? Probably a good thing you didn't:D
Nice shooting!

I guess I have always underestimated the potential accuracy of a muzzle loader. I never shot mine a lot, and couldn't even qualify to watch you shoot! Wow!

I did only one local black powder meet, just for fun and was way out shot by a couple of guys, but we had a ball!

I just have a simple reproduction Hawkins 50 that shoots a patched ball. Pretty good for local hunting. A friend was visiting me once, and I got the gun out to show him, so he asked just how accurate it was, so I sighted on an old sign hanging @140 yards away. Hit it dead center on the first shot. He tried and tried to hit the target but failed, and he was a pretty exceptional shot with a rifle.
He decided that I was an exceptional shot too, but I doubt that I could have repeated that shot. Sometimes you just get lucky, and anything else you do after that will only expose the fact that it WAS just a lucky shot! I just smiled and put the gun away, rather than expose myself. :D

I wanted one when I bought my G23 Gen 4 but they were scarce and I didn't want to wait, so I settled for one from Austria. I think all the G42's are made in the US. Smyrna, Georgia is their US HQ.

Having too much fun with the C&R license......UPS is set to deliver a Schmidt Rubin 1911 long rifle and a Chicom SKS sometime today.
I'm ready with the rubber gloves and boiling water!

As for the accuracy of my Mosin 91/30, it's not really good, the best I can manage is about 5-6" at 100 yds. (I have done a bit of trigger work and have a smooth but long single stage pull at 5lbs).
On the other hand with my K31 I can easily shoot 2-3". (no trigger work necessary, has a beautifully crisp 2 stage trigger).

Ha! Take that commiefornia! One for the good guys.

I'm assuming you've got a great barrel condition on the Mosin, otherwise of course with a worn barrel your accuracy will always suffer. Some of those old Mosins bores can be quite worn.

Just came across this thread. I'm a gun guy, I've got a few NFA items and love to shoot and reload. I'll be sure to check this thread out later and maybe post some pics.
