Been awhile since this thread has had any activity. Below are some displays from the US Air Force Museum. Went Saturday. Love that place, it is about an hour away from me. DSLR batteries died I apologize for the crappy cell phone pix

What sort of weapon is the firearm shown with the M14, and the one in the photo above that one? Just curious.
 
I believe it is a m79 "thumper" grenade launcher. Will have to get home and see if I can blow the pic up some.

I wondered. The size and the angle of the barrel made that seem likely.
 
It does seem to have an odd stock on it. If course I could be mistaken and that is standard, I'm nowhere near an expert on them.

Here's one I've fiddled with a bit, Finn trigger. Has double markings Russian and East German. It was unfired when I got it. I've never had the opportunity to shoot it long range. Like Gary, pistol ranges are more accessible.




This is my favorite pistol. It started as a Camper, but with the addition of a factory target trigger, trigger job, and some nice factory wooden grips, it shoots like a dream. Ten rounds from 50':

Probably integral, .32 was popular back then, oddly enough.
