they will let you build a gun range on your property.. but not put up an archery target :(
so few places to go around here.
would a golf cart make a good backstop? or should we just use them as targets?

Just back from Markham Park target range. 60 rounds each through my Mosin and Swiss K31, also took an AR but not much fun to be had with it with the no more than one shot every 5 second rule.....I even got told off for shooting the Mosin too quickly:(
.....got home and the post brought my FFL 003 C&R, a good day.

Shooting 500 yards with that Mosin?

Unfortunately not....it's only a 100yd range and 75yd eyes.
I do have a mount for the K31 and am looking at getting a scope.....I'd like something in blued metal rather than the modern matt black Leupold/Redfield/Nikon offerings.

My LDS (one of them, anyway) also has a gun shop at the store. They have one of these on these on the counter. The manager told me if I could fire it from my shoulder without falling down I could have it.

I wonder if he'd tell me that? Which store?
I have video of me doing exactly that on my birthday two years ago.

My youngest brother has a High Standard 22 he used to do a lot of shooting with on ranges when he lived in CA.

Once he was tuning it between rounds and accidentally adjusted the trigger pull so light that the entire clip ripped off instantly on the first shot. That got him a lot of very unwelcome attention by the range officers!

Barrett 50cal

Decided to try some bulk ammo. Villa Rica is about 45 minutes away from the house. I'm glad I went. After picking up the items shown below, I went by the gun club and popped off about 50 rounds of .40 and 100 rounds of .45. The ammo worked perfectly in my Glock and the Kimber. Not one hick up. I'll be visiting Villa Rica again. :( can't seem to up load photos. I'll try another route. http://s1233.photobucket.com/user/insta-gator1/media/bb1_zpsa839b478.jpg.html http://s1233.photobucket.com/user/insta-gator1/media/BB2_zps57b3261d.jpg.html

I've been using them for about 8 years. Well over 10K rounds. Their match bulk 308 and 223 are easily way sub MOA, great for the price.

The only thing I don't like is the pistol rounds are really pretty dirty ammo. You'll need to clean more often.
