Having grown up in diving in Arizona without many local tech divers/instructors, I had to travel out of state for all of my tech training. I have pulled a lot of information from the boards, but only information from people I have come to trust, such as Jim Wyatt, Kelly Jessop, Joel Silverstein, Steve Lewis, just to name a few in no particular order. Since moving to Florida, I've been fortunate enough to find many mentors to further my knowledge and experience. Some of the best learning experiences I've had occurred during my cave instructor internships from people like Jim, Dan Patterson, Paul Heinerth, Jill Heinerth, and others.
