Everyone tell's me to try out a few reg's before you buy one. I asked my LDS's if they could rent me a high end model reg to tryout in a pool or OW and they told me that those reg's were to expensive to put them as rental gear. What's the deal...how can I buy something without trying it first. Is there somewhere I can try a few reg's out. Thanks in advance.

1) Try a different LDS

2) Make some new friends, make sure they have the gear you want.

I second that.
Borrow from some friends and let
the LDS know you will be buying the reg from
them and it would be in their best interest
to let you test dive a couple or you can
take your business somewhere else

LMAO
