well anyway, I passed but by the skin of my teeth. valve shutdowns are my bugaboo. instructor noticed that when I am shutting down my left post my forearm presses the dump on my drysuit which finally explains why I drop like a rock when shutting that post. need to figure out how to stop that. much more practice needed...

Weird.

Anyway, you can attack your right and left posts three ways.

Palm in back, palm in front, and palm to the side. Try all three and you'll probably solve your dumping problem.
