Engageunderwater I had the same problem - I could not find anything that sits on all 4 rubber pads of the housing and safely open the back door when the full rig sits on tripod.
That's why I designed and analyzed my geometry for 25kg load to have very sturdy platform.
Hopefully you can 3d print my plate or have it print it.

If you decide to print and use it the screws fot the ball adapter are SS hex 5x20mm and you don't need inserts in the plastic PETG. ( or other premium grades like Nylon ,Peek etc.)(Print at 100% no cavities)
(Please don't use PLA for any underwater gear)
It's designed to take the screws directly in the plastic for the load.
Ball adapters from Aliexpress are inexpensive and work great.
