Someone posted a link to the Hawaii Skin Diver magazine and I found this picture of a huge tako caught off of Waianae

Holy Cow - that is HUGE!

I wonder how much of a battle it was to get that one.

there is one hiding out with eggs (didn't know that till later) right now that I am guessing is pretty big...Tried to get it out a bit, just too see and it ripped my octo stick straight off the split ring..VERY STRONG..and I doubt that it is a big as this one.
