I'm 38 now. Dad was an instructor while at Berkley and trained me on some really old standards (Way tougher than current open water!) when I was 9 but was "officially" certified IANTD Open Water at 13.

72 years old, certified since 1973 (50 years), dive occasionally now. Still love it. One of the only places you can completely get away these days..........
