60 years old, certified for 25 years, but freedived for abalone before that. Somewhere between 700-1000 dives IDK? Stopped logging at about 300.
The newest reg I own is a MK2/R190 I bought new in 2002 for a deco bottle.
I love diving old Scubapro metal regs and old US Divers all metal 1085’s on Conshelfs.
My only regret is that I didn’t get into scuba diving when I was 12 years old.

38, 150ish, cert in 2016 or 17. Really only started taking off in the last 2-3 years.

Certified in 1979 at 14 years old. And I turned 58 today!
Lost count on dives but still got the same same awesome thrill diving on Sunday as I did the first time so many years ago.

Didn't I just write this out in another thread? 61 years old. Certified in 1989. Instructor in 1993. 4900 Dives. Mostly warm water. All about fish and critters for me.

Certified in early April of 2006 at age 37; I'm due to turn 54 shortly, and in early April 2023, that'd make 17 years certified, around 559 dives, mainly tropical Caribbean coral reef diving locations, with a smattering of other experience (e.g.: Jupiter (Florida), California, Galapagos) where I sought other things. Key Largo was good. Have the option to get more dive in at a local quarry, and it's a good one, but by the time I load up the car with all the gear I will or might need, drive around, check in, gear up, dive, get out...it's like over half the day is shot for one dive, and I've been there multiple times in years past.

Historically aimed for 2 dive trips/year; on retirement budget, looking more towards 1 2-weeker to cut travel costs by only paying airfare once. Inflation and the stock market taking a hit took some of the wind out of my sails.
