I just got my first regulator. My first stage is DIN and I have a DIN to Yoke adapter for it, as I assume most places I dive will only have yoke tanks. My question is how tight do I need the adapter attached? Is hand tight sufficient or should I use a wrench? Also, I do not want to leave this adapter attached when in storage to avoid the metals interacting and becoming stuck, correct?

I've never had any problems with a good hand tighten.

Hand tight is fine. You'll know as soon as you crack that valve if it needs any more
