landlocked once bubbled...

A minimum of 15 minutes wet followed by 10 minutes dry. (SSI definition)

Interesting...

I live relatively close to the ocean and the weather down here allows me to dive just about anytime of the year without a wetsuit etc.

So I average of 12-20 dives a week or about 500+ dives a year.

Down here thats pretty common if you have the time to dive and the money for fills. Fills are usually the biggest cost involved.

Conor once bubbled...
Its maybe the number-cruncher in me, but does anyone else find the stats a bit surprising ?

More than half the responders have 100 or less dives, do you think this is representative of the dive community ?

Depending on where you live many diving could be seasonal to most recreational divers.

Especially when you live in a place where the water tends to get to cold for a wetsuit and a drysuit it to costly to rent or buy.

20 yrs. this summer.... 3,974 dives But who's counting

Probably 1500 are with students...

Diving is like sex.....

When it's good, it's very good.

And when it's bad.........

It's still pretty good!

Diving with students only means you have to be paying more attention to a lot more folks. You have my permission to call them "official" dives. LOL!

Permission???? Where about's is Woodlands, TX. ? Is that near Lago Vista? or Austin? Just thought you might know Ralph down in Lago Vista...Ralph Ericson
