...and and I have Boxs that still work going back to 8088 procs.
WOW

I think the worst I've got laying around is a i486. Ouch.

Although, I did have a Commodore 64 way back when. I still remember hours of playing Bruce Lee.

I still have a functioning Radio Shack TRS-80 computer!! Anyone remember those? Data was stored on audio tapes instead of diskettes!!!!

Ha... I still have my Atari 800XL.... I just sold my Atari 520 ST (upgraded to 1 Meg Ram) in a garage sale (for $20).

I started on a Atari 400 with a membrane keyboard 16 K of ram and a tape drive.

real programmers use "copy con"...

I still have my old IBM 8mHz AT with 512 k of memory soldered onto the motherboard. It came with two 33 Meg RLL drives and a 5.25 Floppy. It was given to me not working (needed a video card) and thus I turned from repairing autos to repairing PCs. I have my share of certs, but I rarely ever need them, as my years of problem solving serve me better than the cards. Network consulting really treats me right... I have short hours and can do all the things with the Scouts and teaching that I want.

NetDoc, I thought real programmers used "GOTO 10"?

I'm surprised that I've not yet seen mention of the TRS-80, the Apple II or the Commodore PET... am I really that old? All I really wanted back then was either an Apple II (4K RAM!!!), or a TRS-80. Never got either one, unfortunately. :( Those were the days, weren't they??? *sigh*

No they don't. All true geeks know that the above can't be machine code.... Your example isn't even octal aligned! :tease:
