My last weekend trip to California (which was last year) I had loaded with me...
4 3L rebreather bottles (2 sets)
Since I really needed 3 sets I brought the booster and a couple of my steel 100s to drive it.
A K-cylinder of O2 to run through the booster
An AL40 filled with mix to run through the booster
(that is 8 so far)
The AL6 for the drysuit, refilled on the boat
AL40 of air for shallow dive bailout
AL40 of rich for deco bailout
AL80 of lean for deep bailout
That is 12 cylinders for a 3-day weekend. Used all except the bail outs. The steel 100s could probably have been left behind and borrowed a couple boat tanks to run the booster.
The real fix it to get another pair of 3L so I don't have to do parking lot fills. That would get me 6x 3L, 3x bailout, 1x drysuit. That is still a 10 cylinder weekend, but they are all small except the one normal sized AL80 bailout. If the boat didn't do fills, add a steel 100 back in and a transfer whip.
