I finally sold a tank but only to end up getting 4 more! :D
...
I know the feeling! After all this time (How many cylinders do you own?) I've only gotten rid of my three Catalina Alum 6 cylinders and my OMS (Faber) LP125.

But purchased two new Faber LP50's.

Turned one of my Luxfer Alum 40's into an oxygen cylinder (dedicated to emergency oxygen, rather than to deco), though.

Wow, I am such an amateur collector, I am in awe.

3 x HP100
2 x HP120
1 AL80
1 AL30 for O2
1 AL40 for O2
1 AL19 for instabuddies

Looks like I need to do some more accumulating

Ah, but do you maintain a database of your tanks' current (expired) Hydro/VIS dates, s/n and hydro birthdate, all their specs, when you obtained your tank, and how much you paid?

Unfortunately, I do. :D NOT OCD, not at all.

Kind of. I have the hydro log sheets that list all the information. No idea what I paid for any of them, if the price wasn't right, I didn't buy them. I have only ever purchased two new tanks.

15l Steel 232 bar - sold, too big
10l Steel 200 bar - sold, too small :rofl3:
2 x 12l Steel 232 bar concave - sold, no more in use, too heavy bottom for sidemount
2 x 7l Steel 300 bar - sold, too heavy for sidemount

2 x 12l Steel 232 bar - for cave dives
2 x 8.5l Steel 232 bar - main tanks
12l Steel 200 bar - Nitrox 32 for rec dives
2x AL80 - Stages
1 x 7l AL - O2 Stage

2) LP 85
2) HP 100
I use the 100s and my wife uses the 85s so consequently we end our dives with similar ending pressures. It works for us as a buddy team.

2x 12/232 steels for cold water drysuit diving at depth for fun
2x 7/232 steels for cold water drysuit diving at shallow depth for work
1x 7/200 steel for no-mount fun or deco gasses or just for extra gas
1x AL80 for no-mount fun or deco gasses

European cylinder sizes where the first number tells the physical volume and the second number the fill pressure. Capacity is a product of these.
