How long should a good pair of fins last? Mares problem with fins

Last year went to some new ones after I really got tired of looking @ my (Dacor)Turbo II's & III's for over 20 years---now that I think about it wife did the same thing(age wise) on her Tusa's.........So going by my experience I would say almost 25 years??.....

Good news from Scubastore - Diving Gear and Dive Equipment, Diveinn, after Maria from scubastore sent Mares the pics of the fins they have mailed to say that a new pair are on their way.. Thanks to all for the info's, but above all thanks to Mares and scubastore for being understanding...

That's pretty neat the gear lasts so long! I only use full foot fins so I can't replace the non-existent straps. But it seems unless you have a defect or treat them badly, good fins will last you a very long time!
