i assume you asking due to covid.....we use Virkon. but in general, at least before covid, i doubt many shops ever bother to actually sanitize their rental gear.

I use Steramine on all my rental regs, masks, snorkels and manual inflation valve. Wetsuits get Odo-Ban treatment.
