I am a similar size, but heavier, with shoulder issues too. It is easy to add sliders to any BPW system. DGX adjustment ring or Subgravity slider are in the $5 range, slipstream adjustment kit is closer to $75. All will work on most plates. Adding ditchable wrights is simple too. I have been using trim pockets at the waist and they work just fine. I have a set of Helium’s Swift weight pockets on order, but they haven’t arrived yet. I used to need 10 pounds of lead in a jacket BCD for warm water, only need 4 pounds with a 2mm titanium backplate
