I think the toothpaste has to be quite granular to work. I used some Aquafresh on some new masks I bought and it didn't do much. They fog in the pool.

Actually, it doesn't. But it does need to be an all white paste type. No gel toothpaste, or any with a colored ribbon thru it. why?? not really sure.. I had an instructor tell me this, and it so far has been true in every instance I have seen.
