How do you get to Apo Reef????

Other than a liveaboard or boat from other parts of Mindoro, how do you get out there? Is there any airport nearby to fly into from Manila?

Running out of new places to dive in the PI...

my current to do list:

Tubbbataha
Apo Reef
Mindanao?

edit: I know... I know, still tons of places in the PI.... But in terms of the "well known" places,that's it... well those and Moalboal (maybe I'll do Pescadore Island someday)...

Other than liveaboards from Batangas/PG, there is a dive resort on Pandan Island that is close enough to make day trips to Apo Reef. I noticed they had a (noisy) compressor on board their small boat. Might be an option to consider, but I have heard mixed reviews about the resort itself.

I managed to get lucky and did a 5 day liveaboard from a resort on Busuanga which included the northside wreck of the Kyokusan Maru on the way to Apo Reef, but that is not a regular trip that they make.

Running out of new places ehhh? Jolo and Tawi-Tawi are still waiting...
