Henderson hoods have a cool little breather valve patch on the top to (supposedly) allow one way flow of air.

I do know a woman from the Santa Cruz area that has a hood that is basically a neoprene Elmer Fudd hat, complete with a little visior. Her hood collects a LOT of air, due to the brim and due to being too large. She actually has some trouble staying at a SS sometimes. Once while struggling to stay down, I gently pressed down on her crown pushing the air out, and she was amazed at the difference it made. Go figure.

David, just make sure that the hole in your hood doesn't line up with the hole in your head **oops** did I say that outloud?

We have a winner, perfect solution. Can I borrow 3 grand buddy?

if a rebreather's too pricy, get a doublehouse regulator (I think aqualung makes them) The right hose will be the intake, and the left will be the exhaust, the air will exhaust out of the first stage.

Sorry to rain on your guys parade...but a rebreather won't solve your problem. Air gets trap in your hood because of gas exhaled through your nose...out the mask..and into the hood. Using a rebreather doesn't change that.

You know you like to rain on anybody's parade Jeff. :D What's the "G" for? Glum? ;)
