Those are the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders I think you're talking about. And that would be NFL football, not basketball.
 
Those arent skirts, we're just so manly that the shorts are scared to stay stitched up! I'm still trying to figure out caber tossing as a thrill.. the nearest I can tell is its the "I didnt get flattened!!" aspect that really makes it fun!

Hop-scotch: Scotch that is so strong that you hop from one foot to another while you pucker your mouth and squint your eyes shut uncontrollably. This is generally followed by "Whoooooooooooooooooooooooo! Thats a good batch of scotch!"

I think you mean curling don't you Andy. Canadians dominate at that as well. They use to play this in a kilt (ooooooo the cold winds) The bad players go to Florida and take up shuffleboard

Awwwwwwwwww - this is kinda cute... my wife shows no sympathy, she pulled out her blood stained Red Wings jersey that she wore to games before I imported her to FL and held it up to the screen after reading this thread over my shoulder and said something UPerish like "Goooooooooh Wings Goooooooh!" then threw a beer bottle at the wall near the TV hitting the Tampa banner I put up for the season :)

Thanks..now she's got all her RW stuff out and has it set up around an inflatable stanley cup and beer bottle shrine!
