hi aquapixie, and welcome aboard.

you'll love Bonaire, i've heard many good things about it.

two places for ya:

Great Lakes Wrecking Crew forum, for buddies in your area: http://scubaboard.com/f188.html

and Greater Caribbean and Bahamas forum for info on Bonaire: http://scubaboard.com/f23.html

you can try some searches, ask questions, etc.

enjoy!

Welcome to SB!! :happywave Put us in your favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue:

There's lots of Bonaire information in the Caribbean forum. Click here: http://www.scubaboard.com/f23.html

Hey AP...welcome and have fun....take some with a grain of salt...others with the whole dang block!! Stay warm....Rich

Welcome to Scubaboard! This is a great place to get information and meet new dive buddies!

The "Great Lakes Wrecking Crew" is diving at Gilboa April 16-18 if you want to meet some of the "local" divers. Come on down and dive or just stop in to put some faces with names!

A warm welcome to the board! My dog's name is Pixie, so you're alright by me:)

Welcome to scubaboard from a Michigander that's been transplanted to Nashville as of last summer. While I miss Michigan, it's tough to say I don't like the fact that our trees have bloomed & I've already had the shorts out this year ;)

:thumb: Welcome to the board, AP, and to the underwater world. Swing by the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew section of this board to meet a bunch of divers from your area. I used to live not far from you - although it's been long enough ago that I still remember when Orchard Lake Rd was only 2 lanes and where it meets with Northwest Highway was a lonely country intersection.

You'll love Bonaire. It's the perfect place for new divers, with warm, clear water, nominal currents, friendly locals and a tourist infrastructure devoted to diving. Here's a link to a report I wrote after one of my trips there a few years ago - not much has changed. There's a lot of information about Bonaire available on the web but if you have any specific questions, PM me and I'll make up an answer for you.

... coldwater diver. Have fun here and under the water. Maybe, I'll meet you down there.

BTW, Toby has some great wrecks, doesn't it?
