$120 DC Sports or GReddy strut tower brace
$225 Hotchkiss anti-sway bar kit

Total $1290. And all bolt-on mods. You'll get an extra 20hp and much improved cornering without screwing up the ride. Or you could skip the headers and exhaust and settle for an extra 6-8hp. Be sure to keep the original parts in case you need warranty work

I left out the subwoofers, body kit, neon underlighting, speedshop decals and dubs so he should be OK. Besides, somehow I think a pimped out Scion xA is more likely to provoke laughter than a reach for the ticket book.
